At Clark-It Realty, our mission is simple — to serve your family as we would our own.
As a father–daughter team, we’re proud to help families buy, sell, and invest around Lake Lanier and North Georgia — one relationship at a time.
Josh Clark attended his first real estate seminar while still in high school. He grew up listening to Zig Ziglar’s Secrets of Closing the Sale and other books and audios on communication and negotiation. As a result, even though he doesn’t particularly enjoy negotiating for himself, he absolutely loves negotiating on behalf of his clients to help them get the best deal—whether they’re buying or selling a home.
In high school, before he was even old enough to earn his license, Josh got his start in real estate by managing his first property when a close friend moved to Wyoming. Initially, the friend declined his offer to manage it—but after their renters destroyed the home, they quickly turned to Josh for help. He cleaned out the property, repaired the sheetrock, and began managing it himself.
A few years later, after marrying his childhood sweetheart, Chelsey, they bought their first home. Just a year later, they purchased their second and turned the first into a rental property. From there, they continued buying investment properties while also building their other business ventures.
At age 31, Josh earned his real estate license. Within a year, and with the help of a close friend who served as his qualifying broker, he launched his own brokerage.
Josh was thrilled when two of his younger brothers joined him later that year. Together, they were determined to build the #1 brokerage in North Georgia. In 2014, after being heavily recruited for more than a year, Josh reluctantly accepted an executive role with an international nutritional company—the same company whose products had helped restore his mother’s health two decades earlier. He left the firm in his brothers’ care and threw himself into the challenge of building sales teams across North America. While he enjoyed the experience, he ultimately couldn’t stay away from real estate for long.
In 2023, his daughter Brianna expressed interest in pursuing real estate after high school, which inspired Josh to relaunch the firm. By that time, his brothers had transitioned from real estate into residential roofing and exterior maintenance. Josh rebranded the company from Josh Clark Realty to Clark-It Realty to make the name less personal and more inclusive—reflecting a growing family business that could one day include sons-in-law and future generations.
In 2025, his daughter Moriah shared her desire to join the family business after completing a year of mission work in Costa Rica. Today, Josh couldn’t be more excited to work alongside his family as they serve other families’ real estate needs across North Georgia.
Josh and his family remain deeply involved in the community where they grew up. He has coached numerous youth sports teams and served on various boards and church ministries. He’s also represented Northeast Georgia in the Georgia House of Representatives under the Gold Dome in Atlanta—and a decade later, he’s once again answering the call to serve, campaigning for another term in the Georgia House.
If elected, that commitment won’t change his dedication to meeting your real estate needs. As a part-time citizen legislator serving from January through March, Josh believes it’s vital to stay connected and involved in the community—something he learned from experience helps him remain grounded in the North Georgia values he holds dear.
